Scarecrow
Today, we all went to Hyde Hall to make a scarecrow.

Billy and Buster
The family has been extended by two goldfish, Sofia's birthday present. She has named them Billy and Buster.
Billy is the yellow one - A Yellow Comet, and Buster is the other one - a Shubunkin.

Sofia's 4th birthday Party
Sofia had her birthday at home, with seven friends - Hanna, Emily, Rosie, Freya, Anthony, Max and Harrison.

Sofia's 4th birthday
How time flies! Four years already.
Her birthday didn't get off to the greatest of starts as she woke up at half 7 having wet the bed (she has just started to do this now and again in the mornings).
However, she quickly recovered and was very pleased to see the huge birthday balloons in her room that Nanny Stella brought (Olivia loved them too).
Then it was off to Roundwood pre-school with a box of sweets and chocolates while we adorned the playroom and kitchen with lights.
After pre-school, she opened her presents and had "her favourite dinner" of roast chicken and roast potatoes.
We then drove to get her surprise present - a goldfish, but the first place we went were not very helpful, so we had to go somewhere else, and she chose a Dora the Explorer tank but has to wait a week for a fish as we need to make sure the water is ok first.
Then we went to Pizza Express with Hanna and Lola (and Lisa) where she had a great time, and ate all of her Pizza, and had a cake brought to the table and Happy Birthday sang to her.

Olivia update
At around Christmas, Olivia got a couple of back teeth which is unusual as she has not got all of her front teeth yet - 4 on top, and 3 on bottom.
Her most frequently used words are Hello (sooo cute), Dad, Daddy, dat (when pointing at everything), and duck (not necessarily when a duck is present). She also says upsy daisy, and something that sounds like razzle dazzle.
More recently, she has started to say "eye", and trys to say nose (dose/bose) when pointing to daddy's face.
Her walking has turned into very confident fast walking, and also trying to climb on everything.

Center Parcs - New Year
At the start of January, we all went to Center Parcs Elvedon Forest.
The weather was cold but dry and bright, and there had been snow the day before we arrived.
We had a lovely Woodland Lodge with ducks, rabbits, squirrels and birds (including a heron and a pheasant in our patio area).
Sofia did lots of activities including swimming, roller skating, making coasters on the computer, a farm craft and fairy craft session, a ride on a horse drawn cart, as well as riding on our bikes.
Olivia loved toddling around everywhere and enjoyed her swimming sessions.
Sunny december
The day before New year's day, we went to Westcliffe-on-Sea for lunch, and had a lovely day in the sun on the beach.

Christmas 2008
Christmas was fairly low key with Sofia really excited about Father Christmas coming. He brought her a scooter, a belt, a pencil sharpener, bracelets, hair clips, torch, Roary the Dragon game, Big Bad Wolf game, an alphabet playmat, some clothes for her Baby Annabelle, Magnetic Mosiacs, Charades, and a Winnie the Pooh 100 piece jigsaw.
Nanny Stella got her a huge remote controlled dinosaur called Spike.
She also got a set of Mr Men Books and a Dolls house.
Grandad and Jeanie got her a Snowman book and CD, and some lego and money for her savings account. They got Olivia some books and money.
Olivia got a Ride on Fire Engine, a doll, and some mosaics.
Nanny Stella got her a little piano.
Rich, Jo and Dulcie got Sofia a Bear Hunt game/book/DVD and Olivia got a Fairy House.
Annabel, Tarquin, Rosie, Lauren and Jason got Sofia some Fantasy unicorns and Olivia a Happyland Camping set.
The Smiths got them both personalised swim bags and beach towels.
Doreen and David got Sofia some watercolour pencils, and Olivia got a Duckling book.
