Olivia update

Olivia is 18 months now, so here is an update on her progress.

Words she says all the time:

Daddy (although she tends to call Mummy this, as well as Sofia and herself)
Mummy
Booby - when she wants milk
Doggy, Woof
Hello, Hi
Yes, No
Eye, Nose, Hair, Head
Tree
Duck
That - "Dat/Dack" initially, and now That
Up, Down
Wet, Cold
Minute
More, Again
Baby
Shoe, Coat, Hat, Bag, Socks
Fish = "Shh"
Choo Choo - at trains, cars, boats, anything
Car
Wee Wee/Poo Poo
Bee (for any small flying thing or insect)
Pooh Bear - for many cuddly toys
Man
Upsy Daisy - when she drops something
Cheese, Apple
Ball - sort of like boo
Chicken - "icken" -for the animal and also all meat that she eats
Home
Egg
Good Girl

She also goes "shhh" whenever she sees anyone asleep

Animal impressions:
Dog, Cow, Sheep, Mouse, Lion/Tiger - A great "ROAR" with pawing hand movements, Monkey

She is also repeating lots of words as soon as we say them

Things that she can point to in a book:

Dog, Cat, Horse, Cow
Eye, Nose, Mouth, Ear, Head, Hair, Fingers, Hand, Foot, Tummy, Teeth, Cheek, Knee
Sky, House, Moon, Stars, Apple, Banana, Tree, Teddy, Car, Tractor, Train
in fact, loads of things!

The list grows everyday, it's hard to keep a record.

She also loves walking around in Mummy's shoes, carrying a bag, and she shows great patience in manoeuvering them around to put them on.

She is also very good at feeding herself, and has been for some while. She will not let you feed her at all - very independent indeed.

She is eating quite well too - her favourite seems to be potato. She also likes all meats which she calls "chicken", rice, pasta, sweetcorn, carrot (now and again), fish, and she is a total fruit fiend!

She, like Sofia, does now drink milk.
